Injiri means "real India". Started by textile designer Chinar Farooqui in 2009, the label Injiri expresses her appreciation for the traditional Indian textiletechniques. Farooqui designs each item side by side with weavers on their wooden hand-looms, making textile design the most significant design feature of her products.
